These Terms & Conditions govern all projects undertaken by ClearCutVideos. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you have any questions before signing, please raise them with your project manager.
All projects require a 50% deposit to begin production. The remaining 50% is due upon final delivery. The completed video file will not be released until the final invoice has been paid in full.
Payment is accepted via credit card, bank transfer, or e-transfer. All pricing is in CAD unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The following optional add-ons are available and will be added to your final invoice:
We offer unlimited revisions at every stage of production except the VoiceOver stage. We will not advance to the next stage until you have given written approval of the current one.
For voiceover: if the artist makes a mistake, mispronounces something, or deviates from the approved script, we will re-record at no cost. If you request script changes after recording has been completed, a re-recording fee will apply.
All projects are a collaborative effort. You will be asked to review and approve work at each stage before production advances. Timely feedback directly impacts your delivery timeline — the faster you respond, the faster your video gets done.
You are responsible for ensuring all brand assets, messaging, and content approvals are accurate. ClearCutVideos is not liable for errors introduced through client-supplied information.
All project communication is managed through your assigned project manager. You will not communicate directly with animators, scriptwriters, or voiceover artists. Email is the preferred method of communication as it creates a clear written record for both parties.
Timelines vary depending on the package selected, video complexity, revision rounds, and client response time. Most 60-second videos are delivered within 6–16 weeks from project kick-off.
We will always prioritise quality over speed. Your project manager will keep you informed of progress throughout and flag any delays as early as possible.
During the Brand Intelligence stage, you will be asked to share reference videos that reflect the style you prefer. We use these as directional guides for illustration and animation. Your style frames (Phase 3b of the process) will be presented for approval before full illustration begins, giving you a clear visual preview of the direction.
We run a proper audition process for every project. You will receive 10 custom audition samples from professional voice artists who have recorded against your actual script — not generic demos.
The default is North American male voice talent. If you prefer a different style — female, British, Australian, bilingual, or any other — specify this during the Brand Intelligence stage and we will cast accordingly.
No revisions are permitted at the VoiceOver stage once a recording is approved, except in cases of error on our end.
Upon receipt of final payment, your video will be delivered as an HD MP4 file. MOV format is available on request. The Establish package includes 4K (3840×2160) delivery. Source files included per package tier are outlined on the Pricing page.
Upon receipt of final payment, you own full rights to your video with no licensing restrictions. You may use it anywhere — your website, paid media, trade shows, investor presentations — without limitation.
ClearCutVideos reserves the right to showcase completed videos in our portfolio, on our website, and across our social channels unless you request otherwise in writing prior to project kick-off.
Every project includes the final video file, the voiceover audio track, and the storyboard illustrations (for Impact and Establish packages). Adobe After Effects animation files are not included by default but are available as a paid add-on. See the Add-Ons section above for details.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Because we provide unlimited revisions at nearly every stage of the process, you will always receive a video you are proud of. In the unlikely event that production is cancelled after work has begun, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Completed videos may be added to our Vimeo channel and featured in case studies, proposals, or marketing materials. If you require confidentiality, please inform us in writing before the project begins and we will respect that request.
