Every video follows the same rigorous six-stage process — from deep brand discovery to final sound design. No shortcuts, no templates, no guesswork. Here’s exactly what happens after you say yes.
Before a single word of script is written, we need to understand your brand at a deep level. What we call Brand Intelligence — a structured discovery process built around 19 targeted questions that extract exactly what we need to produce your video.
This isn’t a generic intake form. Every question is designed to surface your value proposition, your audience’s level of awareness, your competitive differentiators, and the emotional outcome you want the video to produce. The answers become the strategic foundation for everything that follows.
We combine this with a strategy call where we probe further, challenge assumptions, and align on the video’s goal, tone, placement, and call to action. By the time we leave this stage, we know your product, your buyer, and your market — well enough to write the script without needing to come back for more information.
With the Brand Intelligence complete, scripting begins. We use our proprietary Trigger X scripting formula — a five-step process that takes your prospect from Point A to Point B using 10 psychological triggers that drive emotion into the decision-making process.
This isn’t copywriting. It’s strategic messaging architecture. Every paragraph has a purpose: establish the problem, build empathy, introduce the solution, demonstrate credibility, and drive action. The script is structured so that it resonates with both the technical implementer and the business decision-maker in the same organization.
For cybersecurity and B2B technology clients, this stage is where our domain expertise matters most. We know how to write about DNS security, DDI automation, zero-trust architecture, and ML-based threat detection without getting it wrong — and without dumbing it down for your buyers.
The first draft is delivered in a shared Google Doc — so feedback is simple, tracked, and transparent. You leave comments directly in the document, we revise, and iterate until the script is exactly right. Unlimited revision rounds, and we never move to storyboard until it’s fully approved.
The storyboard is where your script becomes a visual story. We break this into three distinct phases — each with its own approval gate before we move forward. Nothing advances until you’re satisfied at every stage.
With the approved script in hand, we begin with rough hand-drawn sketches — scene by scene, frame by frame. These concept sketches give you a full macro overview of the video: the flow of scenes, the visual ideas, the overall direction.
This phase is deliberately rough. The goal is to work fast, get aligned on the big picture, and make any structural changes before investing in polished artwork. It’s a collaborative back-and-forth process — we revise until the concepts are sound.
We only move to Style Frames once the sketches are fully approved.
Once the sketches are approved, we illustrate 3–5 style frames — fully coloured, on-brand scenes that show exactly what your finished video will look like. This is where your brand kit comes to life: your colour palette, illustration style, typography, and character design direction.
Style frames are the visual contract for the rest of production. They eliminate ambiguity about aesthetic direction before we commit to illustrating the entire video. Every colour choice, character style, and graphic treatment is locked here.
With the style established, we illustrate every scene in the video from scratch. Every background, every character, every icon, every graphic element — custom designed and built in Adobe Illustrator. No stock assets. No templates.
For complex videos, this is the most time-intensive stage. Character design can involve multiple body positions, facial expressions, and interaction poses. Isometric scenes are built with precision. Product UI screenshots are vectorized and illustrated to match brand standards.
All illustrations are reviewed via QuickReviewer with unlimited revision rounds. We move to animation only once every frame is signed off.
The voiceover is your brand’s voice — and it matters more than most clients expect. The wrong voice kills a great script. We run a proper audition process so you get to choose, not settle.
We brief and cast professional voice artists against your script, tone, and brand profile. You receive 10 custom audition samples from artists who have actually recorded against your script — not generic demos from a library. You pick the one that feels right for your brand.
By default we provide North American male voice artists. If you have a preference for a different style — female, British, Australian, bilingual, or anything else — that’s established during the Brand Intelligence stage and we cast accordingly.
Once the talent is selected, full recording is completed and audio-mastered before animation begins. The voiceover drives the timing of every scene.
With approved illustrations and recorded voiceover, animation begins in Adobe After Effects. Frame by frame, every graphic, character, icon, and text element is brought into motion — precisely timed to the voiceover and paced to hold the viewer’s attention through every second of the video.
The flow of animation is what separates a good explainer from a great one. Transitions, entrance timing, movement arcs, and pacing all affect whether the viewer keeps watching. We don’t use preset motion templates — every animation is crafted for the specific scene and content.
Once animation is complete it goes to QuickReviewer for review and feedback. Unlimited revision rounds until every frame is exactly right before we move to sound design.
Sound design is the final layer — and one of the most underestimated. The right music track completely changes how a video feels. A mismatch between tone and music can undercut even the best animation. We select and mix carefully.
A professional music track is selected against your brand tone and video pacing, then mixed against the voiceover. Sound effects are added for Impact and Establish packages — subtle audio cues that reinforce key moments in the animation. Full cinematic sound design for Establish.
Final delivery is in HD MP4 (MOV on request). You own the files outright upon final payment — full ownership, no licensing restrictions. Establish package includes 4K (3840×2160) delivery optimized for boardroom and large-screen presentations.
From startups building their first video to enterprise technology companies repositioning their entire market narrative — the process is what makes the difference.
Walk us through your project and we’ll tell you honestly which package fits, what the timeline looks like, and what it’ll cost. No obligation.
